Can non-citizens become police?
This is a very dangerous scenario that is unfolding. Allowing foreign interests who have no regard for existing law to police American citizens will lead to inevitable abuses.
Communities such as Del Norte should take pre-emptive measures to prevent such policies from gaining a foothold here. As such, I recommend that members in the community begin the process of drafting an ordinance for Del Norte County that would stipulate the following requirements for any law enforcement, state or federal agents, as well as first responders and any form of office:
- All operating agents/entities and applicants must have legal citizenship within the United States of America.
- All operating agents/entites and applicants must have resided within the United States for a minimum of five years.
The rationale for these measures is simple: only legal american citizens and established members of the community should be policing and overseeing the citizens of Del Norte County. The authority of any foreign actors should not be recognized, and should be actively countered.

"Don't let the bastards grind you down"
The government of the State of California is headed for totalitarian control. It is willfully destroying the middle class in it's efforts. The band, the Rage Against the Machine, some twenty years ago was correct in their message of corporate takeover of America, and now with the emergence of the State, the battle is much harder. I think writing an ordinance addressing this "very dangerous scenario" is something to be considered-- seriously. We must also consider the need to look the people running our local government directly in the eye so they understand we are tired of their bs.
A guide, on finding a man who has lost his way, brings him back to the right path—he does not mock and jeer at him and then take himself off. You also must show the unlearned man the truth, and you will see that he will follow. But so long as you do not show it to him, you should not mock, but rather feel your own incapacity.
Do not rely on following the degree of understanding that you have discovered, but simply think, “This is not enough”.
