Great introductory video to permaculture--good production values as well.

Nice to see David Salmon's work getting some attention. It would be nice to have him in our community sharing his insights on permaculture, and how to spread its practice in our community.

I have heard the warning he issued before: the soil across the planet is being depleted of nutrients, and it may lead to a large-scale crop shortfall in the future. So what can be done, pragmatically about the problem--at scale--to facilitate the current (and hopefully expanding) population?

A guide, on finding a man who has lost his way, brings him back to the right path—he does not mock and jeer at him and then take himself off. You also must show the unlearned man the truth, and you will see that he will follow. But so long as you do not show it to him, you should not mock, but rather feel your own incapacity.

Do not rely on following the degree of understanding that you have discovered, but simply think, “This is not enough”.
